I was married for 19 years and fell in love with a married man nine years ago. We respected each other’s marriages and never were unfaithful, but built a strong friendship. I think the feeling is mutual, but we’ve kept our distance over the past three years. My marriage is over…his is not. I feel such a connection with him, I can’t shake it. I stay away, but think of him all the time. Is it possible we are meant for each other, but the timing is off? How do I get over him?

We havent been dating for to long but were definitly all about eachother. well I have been with my BF for about 2 years now…when we arent fighting we love eachother very much.. we are like soulmates when we arent fighting.. but he has cheated on me the first few months of dating eachother and hasnt done it again… hes hit me alot of times.. calls me names alot.. and controlles alot of my life… he hardly ever listens to me and he has made me hate myself…but I do love him and I know he loves me.. hes only 17 so should I wait and see if he grows up and gets more mature?? or is he never going to change??

okay my ex boyfriend( dated 2 months) is trying desperatly to get custody of his kids from his ex wife.the thing is we were dating and he dumped me bcuz he was not ready to date and have a relationship ( although he told me he loved me and we were taking marraige ) well a week after he stopped dating me he is no0w dating a nother woman .( he suffers major depression and i do not think he was playing me i think he was honest) but now this drastic change came over him he is lying to me ,he is dating a woman who is bi sexual he is a very religous man and so are his kids the oldest (14) hates gays and think they are not huiman and deserve to not live ( not my thoughts ) but a clash of beliefs .he wants custody of these kids and i am afraid for him that this relationship is going to hurt him and his chances of getting custody( the relationship he didnt have on sat this past week but now has yesterday and they are soulmates .) i am worried for him cuz i know he is emotionally weak
i am hoping he doest lose his kids but the drastic change in his ways to me is an alert to a very big problem he is in counseling and on many meds to not be depressed he has major panic attacks to the point of blacking out.i am scared for him and for the kids they want to bew with daddy but i know the sons do not like the moms boyfriend i just worry this relationship is going to hurt his chance and his relationship with his kids i dont want it to he is a good person and i am not writeing this cuz i am jealous i am over it i am moving on life is to short to dwell .i am just worried about it but like i ask do you think it will hurt his chances and could he be going through some kind of mental aspect of the depression
his wife left him for another man ,well the religon is true he is very religous but i think the depression and stuff is geting to him i am moving on and letting go but i just worry about the kids cuz they are going through hell already i honestly think he is a train wreck ready to happen it wont take much i think to make it happen .i am a worrier by nature and i am getting therapy my self for major depression .i thin k by posting the question i can work it out of my system a lil more( the worry)
