Me and this girl dated for two years, and she recently broke up with me about 2 weeks ago. She still wants to be friends, but I still want to date her. She agreed to come watch a movie with me friday night and I need to know the perfect romance movie to choose. Please Help!

How can you tell the difference between just wanting to be their friend and whether or not you like them ( as in want to date the person)

And what is worse, being said no to as a friend, or being said no to as in for dating)

My boyfriend of 14 months has a very close relationship with his ex wife. They share two teenage boys and talk very frequently. This all seems very normal until you throw in a few factors. My ex has told me that his ex is still in love with him and believes that they are soulmates and will eventually end up back together. He has informed me that he has been friends with her for over 20 years and has no intentions of ever stopping that friendship. He won’t talk to her on the phone when I am around because he says he doesn’t want me to see how he is with her. When we had been dating 2 months, they had sex but he insists their relationship is purely platonic now. When she needs help, he sees nothing wrong with helping her – whether it be physical or financial. I am not allowed to go to the boys’ functions because she is not yet comfortable with seeing me with him. He leaves me out of everything that involves her. Please give me some feedback and let me know what you think I should do.
We have discussed this situation extensively. He thinks that I am insecure and have it in my power to just trust him. It is so hard for me to do after being lied to on numerous occasions about her throughout the relationship. They are mostly lies of omission – him not wanting me to know when he’s seen her etc. I love this man. We have talked about a future together. When we are together there are still fireworks after 14 months. Everything else about our relationship is normal and good. We are amazing friends and everyone who sees us together comments on how they can tell how much we are in love. I have been able to overlook a lot of what has happened but if I want to make it permanent with this man, I don’t think I can put up with her being so entangled in his life. I have never even met this woman although there have been many opportunities. He feels that if she doesn’t want to meet me – she shouldn’t have to. He coddles and placates her entirely too much and I’m at my wits end

he has hurt me. countless times. i believe we are soulmates, and that maybe he hasnt realized it. i really love him. the only guy i have ever loved. ive never told him. he isnt ready to hear it.
he’s the type that doesnt do great with relationships i guess. we were bf and gf for a while. dating for like 3 months. but this was all like a year ago. and we always seem to long for one another every once in a while and we get together and hang out. and hes always been worried about age. im now 16 and hes now 19. he was very hesitant about dating cuz of it. and thats some of the reason we broke up. i lost my virginity to him this summer. he knew how much it meant to me. and then he acted like an ass afterwards. is it cuz he doesnt care? or he just doesnt wnat to care but he really does and is scared cuz he doesnt think im mature enough? or was he just using me? and is it horribly sad that i would forgive him for all the bad things hes done and love him for who he is?
he had a veery very very sadd dark childhood. really effed up parents. wasnt raised properly. he has some anger issues i think.
but i still love him. unconditionally. but WHY?
are we soulmates? or am i just being stupid? what is wrong with me??

and my friend who knows her said shes a lot a lot a lot like me…then they broke up and i asked him why and he didnt really say, but i really think its cuz he missed me.
we were at this party, and my friends and i were sittin, chatting and what not, and him and his gf come in.
so im sitting on the dresser, and she sitting on something next to it. we are both facing the same direction so i wasnt looking at her nor she was lookign at me. he was standing kinda behind her. my friends told me that he put his hand on her shoulder, and the WHOLE time he was doing that, he was looking right at me. his eyes were like glued to me i guess.
and then a lil later i was stading by the couch and i looked behind me and saw him totally looking at me! when he saw i caught him, he quickly got up, blushing.
i feel like hes holding something back when im with him
